England v Gemany Chainsaw Competition

England Win !!!  ..........

England narrowly beat Germany in the first ever competition between the two countrys. Each team of six produced sculptures that were later auctioned at the end of each day at the Hampshire Country Show. The accumulative auction price determined the teams total and hence the winning result.

It was also the way in which individual prizes were awarded to give an individual winner for each competition (Day).

The results were as follows;

All of the Carvers were the judges in each competition awarding points for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place. the two competitions included the 3 day classic as previous events and the combo competition a 1 day chainsaw only carve and a 1 1/2 day chainsaw only carve
