The English Open Chainsaw Competition 2009
Held at Tatton Park

 

The results for the 2009 English Open Chainsaw Competition held at Tatton Park. There were three catorgories;

The Classic - a three day event, producing a large sculpture using chainsaw and power tools.

The second event being the Combo - a one day chainsaw only piece and a day and a half Chainsaw with power tools.

 Hampshire Game & Country Fair

May 3rd & 4th 2009

 Hampshire Game & Country Fair hosted the first ever team Chainsaw Competition between two Countries. England and Germany both had six carvers. The winning team was determined by the Auction Prices of the Sculptures and England narrowly won. There were Individual prices for Carving's in each competition and again these were determined by the auction price.
