Each Day many of the carvers took part in a speed carving event within the main chainsaw arena. A friendly competition where the carvers main rival is against the clock. They all start at the same time and have 30 minutes to produce a small carving of their desire from a single piece of timber. After the 30 minutes each piece is auctioned off and sold to those that packed out the arena.

Prices varied from £30-£300 with all monies being recieved by the Carver.

After which each piece is sold by auctioned there and then.

Best view in the house, an excellant way to watch the speed carving in all its glory.
