The English Open Chainsaw Competition held at Tatton Park Country Show 2007 was split into two competitions; the Classic, a three day event as previous competitions one sculpture is produced using a chainsaw and finished with the use of power tools if required. The Second competition being the combo which is sub divided into a one day carve and a one and a half day carve. These competitions only reqired the use of a chainsaw only.

All three events proved to be very successful and the judging was found to be as close as ever.
